All calls are currently being diverted to the surgery mobile. Please DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE as we cannot guarantee a swift answer. If the problem is urgent, please come to the Surgery.

27/08/2020 - TELEPHONE LINES 

Dear Patient

On the 14th September 2020 Orchard House Surgery will be having maintenance on the telephone lines.  This will mean that from 13.00pm the telephone lines will not be working.

We shall arrange a diversion to an alternate line, however services will be limited to one line temporarily.

In case of Emergency please call 999/ A & E  or routinely you can use the 111 service.

09/06/2020 DIABETES ADVICE and HELPLINE

The NHS Diabetes Advice helpline is now available via Diabetes UK to help insulin-treated people with diabetes during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you need immediate clinical advice and can’t reach your usual care team, call 0345 123 2399 (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm)

26/03/2020-  Due to Corona Virus the surgery is now only taking prescription requests over the phone or via email.  Please send all emailed requests to edn.g820720@nhs.net

 

 12/03/2020 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS  Corona Virus Advise

If you have been to an effected place in the last 14 days or  had contact with somebody with Coronavirus, and do you have any of these symptoms?

Cough, Fever or Shortness of Breath.

If yes, to protect yourself and others go home and search 'NHS coronavirus' for advise and to access the 111 online coronavirus service or call NHS 111

Please be aware that there will be limited services at Orchard House Surgery until further notice during this containment period and we apologise for any disruption this may cause.

If you require a prescription please call the surgery and request a pharmacy where we can send Electronic Prescriptions if you have not already done so.  Prescription requests can be posted at the surgery and will still be processed.

                                                                            

 


To help us prioritise patients, we ask that do not:-

 call before 11 a.m. for results, sick notes and other general queries

Ask the surgery to chase referrals which have been made, patients are requested to telephone the hospital to enquire about these.

Make an appointment with the GP for repeat prescription requests, unless you have been asked to.

When you are unable to make an appointment you can

  • Ring NHS 111 for advice

  • www.healthhelpnow.nhs.uk

  • Visit your local Pharmacist for advice

  • Visit the Folkestone Walk in Centre
